LAHORE : Any “party and individual” seeking to change their electoral emblem is prohibited by the Pakistani electoral Commission.
Regarding the election symbol, the ECP gave directions to the district returning officers, province election commissioner, and returning officers on Tuesday.

The ECP stated in its direction that since ballot paper printing has begun, modifying the election emblem should be avoided at this time. If any changes are needed, the ECP should be consulted first.
Recall that Senator Sherry Rehman, the vice president of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), voiced her concerns on the alteration of the party’s candidates’ election symbols in Punjab.
