LAHORE: Eid prayer will be offered across various places in the provincial capital of Lahore, however, the biggest Eid-ul-Fitr gathering will be held at the historical Badshahi Mosque at 8:30 am.
Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will lead the Eid prayer at Badshahi Masjid at 08:30 am. Eid ul Fitr prayer will be offered at Grand Jamia Masjid Bahria Town Lahore at 7:00 am.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today for the sighting of the Eid ul Fitr moon in Islamabad and the meeting of zonal Committees will be held simultaneously at their respective locations in the provincial capitals.

Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) shared an update on the Shawwal moon sighting today. Met Office predicted that there are clear chances of seeing the Eid moon today, the birth of the new moon took place at 11:21 pm on April 8 (yesterday).
