Eight terrorists killed in IBO in Dera Ismail Khan: ISPR

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan District on the reported presence of terrorists on April 5, ISPR said in a statement today.

According to the military’s media wing, during the conduct of the operation, eight Terrorists were sent to hell after an intense exchange of fire.

“The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces and target killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists,” the statement added.

Furthermore, ISPR stated that locals of the area appreciated the operation. Sanitization operations are being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, it added.
