Imran Khan, the former chairman of Pakstan Tehrik-e-Insaaf, and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the vice chairman, were indicted on Wednesday in connection with the Cipher case.
Judge Abual Hasnant of the Special Court was hearing the case at Adiala Jail, where the two PTI leaders are detained.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan have both denied the accusations made against them.
The adjourned hearing is scheduled for tomorrow.
The PTI chairman is accused of misusing a diplomatic cipher for his political gain in a cipher case brought by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) under the Official Secrets Act.
A code used to encrypt and decrypt private correspondence between governments or diplomatic missions is known as a diplomatic cipher.
