Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s interim bails extended in different cases

Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad extended the interim bails of PTI founder Imran Khan in six cases and his wife Bushra Bibi in one case until January 16.

Duty Judge Ahmad Arshad Mehmood heard six cases against the PTI founder and one against Bushra Bibi. Bushra Bibi appeared in court alongside her attorneys Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, Umair Niazi, and Usman Gull.

After noting Bushra Bibi’s attendance, the court allowed her to leave. During the hearing, the duty judge inquired, “Who is the complainant’s lawyer?” “Where has the investigation officer gone?”

No one from the prosecution appeared in court. The court then extended PTI founder’s interim bail in six cases, while Bushra Bibi’s interim bail was extended in one case involving bogus receipts. The case has been postponed until January 16, according to the court.

The report on the PTI founder’s production in court could not be submitted.
