The former chairman of PTI valued himself at Rs 38 million in 2018, and as of right now, his declared net worth is Rs 315 million.

LAHORE – As he filed his nomination papers for the upcoming elections, the PTI founding chairman revealed details of his assets, which show an increase of over 270 million rupees from 2018 – the year of the last general elections.

In his nomination papers for the 2018 general elections, he stated that his assets were valued at Rs38.694 million. This represents a significant increase to Rs315.95 million, of which over Rs60 million is cash that is deposited in various Islamabad banks.

The relevant documents, which are a crucial component of the nomination packages for the Senate, national assembly, and provincial assemblies, reveal that the former chairman of the PTI does not possess a car but does own four goats worth a total of Rs0.2 million.

The imprisoned PTI founder claims that he inherited a seven-kanal, five-marla home in Lahore’s Zaman Park, although the building process cost him an additional Rs48.6 million.

The 300-kanal estate at Bani Gala in Islamabad, where he resides most of the time, has also been in his possession due to a gift; this is a reiteration of the assertion that his wife Jemima Khan gave him the property.

But according to the documents he filed with the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) in 2021, his total assets were listed as Rs141 million. However, in 2022, the value of his assets unexpectedly increased to over Rs320 million, and this year, it decreased slightly to Rs315.9 million.

Regarding his background and means of subsistence, he holds a bachelor of arts (BA) in political science and works as a philanthropist.
