Islamabad Weather Update: Heavy rain with windstorms/thunderstorms expected in city

Islamabad: In Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Bhakkar, widespread heavy rain is predicted on March 1 and 2, according to PMD.

It also stated that during that time, Murree, Galliyat, and the neighboring areas can expect significant snowfall. On March 1 and 2, there is a possibility of flash flooding in the hill torrents of Murree, Galliyat, and the local nullahs of Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to heavy rains.

From February 29 to March 02, rain, wind, and thunderstorm are predicted in the following locations: Multan, Kot Addu, Layyah, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar. Hailstorms that are isolated are also possible around this time.
