Kakar is likely to summon a meeting of National Security Committee tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee is expected to be called to a meeting by acting prime minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar tomorrow (Friday).

Tensions between Iran and Pakistan will be the main topic of conversation during the gathering.

The heads of the air force and navy, as well as the federal ministers of information, finance, and defense, as well as General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, and Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), are expected to attend the NSC meeting.
