KARACHI: Matric results have been announced, female students dominated the general group results and girls won the first three positions.
According to the details, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi has officially announced the results of the Matriculation (Jamaat Daham) General Group annual examinations for 2026. These results have been released for both regular and private category students.
In the examination results, female students have traditionally once again won the first three positions.
Among the female students who secured positions, Tooba Fatima came in first position with 90.27 percent marks, Amna Asad came in second with 87.82 percent marks and Safia Munawar came in third position with 87.73 percent marks.
According to BSE, a total of 15,446 students had registered for the exams, out of which 14,749 students appeared for the exams, while 697 candidates were absent.
Matriculation Board Karachi Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput appreciated the hard work of teachers and board staff for the timely announcement of the results.
He expressed his determination that the board is committed to maintaining transparency in all stages of the preparation of exams and results.
Giving an important update on the occasion, the Chairman Board said that the process of computerized assessment and e-marking has also been started for the verification of copies of the annual exams of the ninth grade, which will bring more transparency and speed in the results.
