Karachi police constable punished for ‘black magic’ against SSP Saqib

KARACHI: Karachi police constable Abdul Qayyum was punished for practicing “black magic” against Rapid Response Force’s (RRF) SSP Saqib Ibrahim and his family.

According to details, a senior police officer has accused Constable Abdul Qayyum of going to the cemetery where his relatives were buried to cast black magic spells on SSP Saqib Ibrahim and his family.

PC Abdul Qayyum of the Rapid Response Force (RRF) has been punished with the forfeiture of two years of his service on charges of misconduct with the SSP Saqib Ibrahim. During the investigation, PC Qayyum’s fellow constable Ghulam Murtaza claimed before DSP that he provided the names of SSP’s late mother and other relatives so that he could make taweez of black magic.

Qayyum allegedly visited a graveyard to obtain information about SSP Ibrahim’s mother and other relatives.

A show-cause notice was issued to Constable Abdul Qayyum. As a punishment, he was given forfeiture of two years and according to the notice, he might be transferred to his hometown Ghotki.

On the other hand, Abdul Qayyum has denied the allegations leveled against him and said that he does not even believe in Taweez Ganda. Furthermore, he added that he was unjustly punished and requested a transparent investigation into the matter.
