KARACHI: Karachi traffic police to relieve masses, have waived charges for motorcycles and vehicles lifted from outside all shopping centers till Eid.
Karachi residents were informed by DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz that lifted cars and motorcycles after Iftar would be accepted back without incurring any fines.
In addition, he urged people not to park in recently created parking lots or in locations that impede traffic flow.
He said that the traffic police officials have been prevented from issuing unnecessary challans, and have instructed the officials to issue challans for one-way and wrong-way violations.

Concurrently, the traffic police in Karachi are also putting comprehensive tactics into action to lessen parking issues and traffic congestion during prime shopping hours.
More officers have been deployed to key markets to maintain a calm atmosphere for the citizens. Additionally, traffic police have blocked heavy traffic and public transportation from reaching the highways that lead to retail centers.
