Karachi weather forecast: PMD warns against unnecessary travel amid rising temperature

KARACHI: The weather forecast in Karachi on April 7, 2023 (today) is mostly sunny, with temperature rising again and there is no sign of rain next week.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department says dry weather will continue in Karachi and most of Sindh until next week. However, areas like Northern Punjab might have cloudy weather with a chance of rain, wind, or thunderstorms.

Amid the increase in heat in the metropolis, PMD warned people not to go out unnecessarily during the daytime. Weather will remain hot and humid in the port city. The weather is predicted to remain extremely hot across the province from today till April 10.

In the upper and central districts of Sindh, the mercury may go up to 41 degrees in the coming days. The met department said heat intensity will be felt more due to humid weather while the intensity of heat will decrease from April 11.

Karachi Temperature Today:

Karachi’s temperature was recorded at 34°C with a mostly sunny sky with 53% humidity in the evening.

It is predicted that the temperature will drop to a low of 22°C when night falls. The sky is still somewhat gloomy, but the chance of rain or thunderstorms is unlikely. The winds are light, averaging 24km/h with a perfect balance of humidity level both indoors and outside at 53%. The expectation of rain today in Karachi is nearly zero.
