KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has forecast sunny skies and no rain for Karachi; but, blustery, cold winds are expected to bring down the temperature. The rain system that brought Karachi moderate to heavy rainfall is gradually moving eastward, according to the Meteorological Department, suggesting its departure from the metropolis.

While the rain is decreasing, there may still be light rain or drizzle in some areas of Karachi until late tonight, according to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Faraz.
Looking ahead to Saturday, Karachi is predicted to see sunny skies and no precipitation. Faraz did, however, issue a warning that, as a result of the rain, there may be a drop in temperature of two to three degrees Celsius as a result of cold winds. It is predicted that the highest temperature would be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius.
As of right now, Karachi is seeing 18 kmph winds and 49% humidity. This information comes from the Department of Meteorology. The Met Office also reported that today’s weather in Karachi will be colder than it was yesterday. All of Karachi was covered in clouds on Friday due to a system moving in from the west. It started to rain in some places.
Many parts of the city, including Baldia Town, Saddar, Scheme 33, New Karachi, FB Area, Nazimabad, Saddar, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Korangi, Malir, Clifton, Gulshan-e-Maimar, North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and Gulshan-e-Hadeed, have reportedly been impacted by the rain.

The previous day, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah proclaimed Friday a half-day for all public and commercial offices, including educational institutions, and issued a rain emergency for the state.
