Khan granted bail in 3 and Qureshi in 2 cases

The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad has approved the bail applications of former chairman PTI Imran Khan in 3 cases and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in 2 cases.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain accepted the bails of founder PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi against bonds of Rs 30,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively.

During the hearing, Prosecutor Raja Naveed and PTI’s lawyers Sardar Ghazal and Khalid Yusuf appeared in the court.

The prosecutor told the court that the PTI leaders deliberately staged the protest, the founder PTI misled the people and tried to create agitation, unnecessary leniency was being given to the PTI leaders.

He requested the court to cancel the bails of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PTI founder.

The judge asked the prosecutor that Shah Mehmood Qureshi and founder PTI were not present on the spot, the prosecutor said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former Chairman PTI were not present on the spot.

Later, the court granted bail to both and ordered them to submit bonds of 30,000 rupees each.

It should be noted that 5 cases have been registered against Imran Khan and Shah Me

hmood in the context of protests in different police stations of Islamabad.
