For the Holy Month of Ramadan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s recently elected government has changed the school timings today.
In a notification, the Department of School Education notified all state-run and private educational institutions of the revised school schedule.

To meet the fasting schedule of students and teachers, school hours have been revised. According to the order, all primary schools will start classes at 7:30 am and conclude at 11:10 am and 10:05 am on Friday.
Middle, intermediate, and upper secondary school classes will start at 7:30 am and conclude at 12:15 pm.
In another development, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Pakistan will hold a meeting on March 11 in Peshawar to view the Ramadan moon. The meeting will be chaired by Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.
