ISLAMABAD: The grand Pakistan Military parade on Pakistan Day is currently underway at Shakar Parian Parade Avenue in Islamabad. The event formally began with the national anthem.
Following the recitation of holy Quran, President Asif Ali Zardari observed the parade from a jeep. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and all the services chiefs are present at the occasion.
Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud is the chief guest in today’s Pakistan Day parade while the contingents of China and Azerbaijan will also feature in the parade.
