Man raped fellow boy observing Aitkaf in Kot Addu mosque

KOT ADDU: Another tragic tragedy during Ramadan has shocked the nation after a 13-year-old boy was allegedly raped during Aitkaf by his fellow member at a mosque in Kot Addu, previously part of Muzaffargarh district, on Tuesday.

A 28-year-old man was accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old kid in a mosque at Sanawan Bukhi Chowk area of Kot Addu, prompting cries for action.

According to the FIR, the suspect covered his mouth and led to an isolated location, preventing the victim from calling any help and he managed to escape. The Imam of the mosque said that the suspect had raped the youngster in the lavatory.

The victim’s father has filed a complaint to the police. Station House Officer (SHO) Sanawan Shahid Rizwan Mahota said the suspect would be arrested soon. Later, the boy was shifted to the hospital for medical inspection.
