Marriyum Aurangzeb enters Punjab Assembly to assist Maryam Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to transfer Secretary Information PMLN, Marriyum Aurangzeb to the Punjab Assembly on a reserved seat for women.

Two-time member National Assembly on reserved seats was this time shited to Punjab to assist Maryam Nawaz in her role as Chief Minister of Punjab.

The inaugural session of the Punjab Assembly commenced today (Friday) after general elections held on February 8. During this session, the newly elected members will be sworn in.

Following consultation, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and President Shehbaz Sharif have concluded that Marriyum Aurangzeb will not return to the National Assembly instead she will take her oath as an MPA in the Punjab Assembly today.
