The Met Gala, which is dubbed as the Oscars for fashion, is the much-anticipated event of the year, in which A-listers join forces with top designers for a night of exquisite fashion.
At the Karl Lagerfeld-themed event from the previous year, some participants chose to honor the late designer by dressing in black and white, while others chose to dress in pink.
This year, as more people join in to celebrate fashion’s greatest night, it’s anticipated that the guest list will grow.
Page Six reports that Ayo Edebiri, star of The Bear, and Lily Gladstone, star of Killers of the Flower Moon, will be present.
Gisele Bündchen, meantime, is expected to attend with her boyfriend, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, reportedly coming along as a plus one.
Rihanna, Kris Jenner, and Kendall Jenner are probably going to be there as well.
Meanwhile, Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan has also reportedly received an invite to the coveted event. It remains to be seen whether he will be attending and if his new girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter will join.
The theme for this year’s Met Gala is ‘Garden of Time’ for the annual celebration of the Costume Institute’s upcoming exhibition, which is entitled ‘Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion.’
The annual fashion event will return on Monday, May 6, in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The 2024 Met Gala hosts are Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.
