190-million-pound case: NAB is considering various options for arresting Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started considering various options for the arrest of Imran Khan in the 190-million-pound scam case.

According to sources, NAB must present the accused in court within 24 hours of arrest.

According to NAB sources, the notification of the Ministry of Law is necessary to obtain physical remand in Adiala Jail. It is hoped that the notification of the jail hearing will be issued in some time.

If the notification is issued, Judge Muhammad Basheer of the Accountability Court will conduct the hearing in Adiala Jail.

It should be noted that the Accountability Court of Islamabad had issued an arrest warrant for Chairman PTI yesterday and the court had issued instructions to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to comply with the arrest warrant.

 

Chairman PTI is already incarcerated in Adiala Jail in the cipher case and due to security concerns, his trial is going on in the jail, he has been charged in the cipher case.
