On January 29, the foreign minister of Iran is scheduled to visit Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Iran’s foreign minister is expected to travel to Pakistan on January 29 as a result of an invitation from Jalil Abbas Jilani, the foreign minister of Pakistan. The Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson made this announcement.

A recent phone call between Iran’s Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and caretaker foreign minister Jalil Abbas Jilani resulted in an agreement for both countries to return their ambassadors to their diplomatic positions. It is anticipated that the ambassadors would return to their duties by January 26, 2024.

The impending visit is significant because it represents a bolstering of Pakistan-Iranian bilateral ties. Following diplomatic talks, both countries have decided to quickly reinstate their ambassadors in order to bring their diplomatic relations back to normal.
