ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army has strongly responded to the Afghan Taliban aggression across various sectors, destroying multiple posts and TTP hideouts in the Zhob and Chaman sectors, security sources said.

According to the state-run PTV News, the Pakistan Army conducted comprehensive counter-operations, using heavy artillery.

“Several Taliban militants have been killed or injured in the operations,” sources said.

The army’s counter-attacks have inflicted significant human and material losses on the Afghan Taliban, state-run media reported.

“The mortar fire has transformed the area into a cloud of smoke, with the sounds of explosions echoing for a long time,” sources said.

The report further alleged that the precision strikes targeting key Afghan Taliban hideouts were carried out in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province.

The military sources confirmed that the Afghan Taliban Battalion No. 4 and the Border Brigade No. 6 were destroyed in these strikes. “Dozens of foreign and Afghan operatives were killed.”
