ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has approved a subsidy for electric vehicles. The government has started a subsidy for electric bikes, rickshaws, loaders and vehicles, financial subsidy will be given to 41 thousand electric vehicles in the first phase.
The first phase includes 40 thousand electric motorbikes, 1 thousand electric rickshaws and loaders.
Users will get a subsidy of up to 80 thousand rupees on e-bikes, the subsidy amount will be transferred directly to the bank.
In the second phase, a subsidy of 8.95 billion will be given for 78 thousand 170 electric vehicles, the amount has been transferred to verified applicants.
