PSL 9 points table: Lahore Qalandars fall to last on table after fifth defeat

In the ongoing PSL 9 season, after the 12th match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars, the latter fell to the last position on the points table after Sunday’s match.

After Peshawar Zalmi defeated Qalandars by nine runs at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore in a thrilling encounter. This defeat marked Qalandars’ fifth consecutive loss of the season, while notched up consecutive victories.

Zalmi is now at the fourth spot while Qalandars remain at the bottom. Multan Sultans continue to stay at the top with eight points with Quetta Gladiators on second position.

Karachi Kings started their PSL campaign with a disappointing display against Multan Sultan. Kings managed to come back in the next two games defeating Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars.

On the other hand, Islamabad United won their first game but was stunned in the next two matches by tournament favorites Sultans and Gladiators.
