Punjab government decides to introduce new electric bike scheme

LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to introduce a new electric bike scheme to provide travel facilities to teachers.

Teachers will be able to get e-bikes by paying the initial installment, the remaining payment under the scheme will be possible at the institutional level.

Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has said that the proposal to provide free scooters to female teachers is under consideration, a special package will be prepared for female teachers on the instructions of the Chief Minister.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said that more details regarding the project will be released in the coming days.
