Punjab Police announces Traffic Assistant, Constable Jobs for 2024; Check Complete Details

LAHORE: Punjab Police has listed multiple job openings for a number of positions in 2024  i.e. Traffic Assistant and Constables, with application processes beginning on February 3, 2024.

Eligibility for Constable, Lady Constable Post Job in 2024

 

  • The age limit for candidates from all Punjabi districts, with the exception of Dera Gazi Khan and the tribal region of Rajanpur, is 18 to 22 years old.
  • Domicile of the relevant district is must to apply for the post
  • Secondary school certificate
  • In the running test, male applicants will have seven minutes to traverse a 1.6-kilometer course, while female candidates would have ten minutes.
  • For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is five feet and seven inches, and for female candidates, it is five feet and two inches.
  • However, the minimum height requirement for male candidates is waived by two inches, while the age restriction for residents of the tribal districts of DG Khan and Rajanpur is 18 to 25.

Eligibility for Driver Constables

  • The minimum height requirement for this position is the same as that of constables, and the age range is 21 to 30 years old.
  • The candidate needs a national identity card (NIC) and proof of residency.
  • A certificate from an authorized board for secondary school.
  • Two years of experience and an LTV driver’s license.
  • In the running test, male applicants will have seven minutes to complete a 1.6-kilometer course, while female candidates would have ten minutes.

Eligibility for Traffic Assistant Post

  • The minimum height requirement and running test are the same, and the age range for the position is 18 to 22 years old.
  • The candidates for this position will also have to pass an eye test.

How to apply for Punjab Police Jobs 2024?

  • Applicants may download the application form from the Punjab Police’s official website, www.punjabpolice.gov.pk.
  • From February 3 to February 17, the completed form will be sent in to the appropriate district police lines, along with an attested copy of your identity card and your academic credentials.
  • The application cost for the aspirants is Rs 200.
