Shehla Raza elected as first woman president of PHF

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party Shehla Raza has been elected as the first woman president of Pakistan Hockey Federation.

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Congress meeting was held yesterday at a local hotel in Karachi. Representatives of National Bank and Pakistan Customs also participated in the PHF Congress meeting. 54 out of 64 members attended the Congress session.

Shehla Raza, a member of the National Assembly, was elected as the President of Pakistan Hockey Federation by the Congress on this occasion. Raja Shuja Khazanchi and Shuja Iqbal Pasha were elected Finance Secretary.

It should be noted that Shehla Raza is the first woman to become the President of Pakistan Hockey Federation. Earlier, Shehla Raza has also served as the Vice President of PHF.
