Thousands of cars were approaching the area, according to the administration, despite the fact that Murree and other areas are heavily snow-covered. Visitors were left trapped in well-known tourist locations due to heavy snowfall; in the last 24 hours, the hill station received more than 10 inches of snow.

Vehicles stuck in heavy traffic due to slick roads caused long lines of cars to form on the Murree Expressway. The local government and the Highway Authority are having difficulty shoveling snow off the highways. Amidst the unprecedented influx of tourists, hotel costs surged, making it difficult for individuals to secure rooms at reasonable rates.
