Former Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi has announced to quit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

He said on social media platform X that the purpose of my political career was to serve the people but now the burden of confrontation with the state and its institutions is unbearable.
