Weather Forecast: Additional Rain in Islamabad and Snowfall on Hills

ISLAMABAD: For the next two days, the weather forecast for Islamabad and Murree is expected to see more rain and snowfall over the mountains, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). The western and upper regions of Pakistan are being affected by a westerly wave, based on the synoptic situation.

In these conditions, Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday, and Thursday are predicted to bring rain and snowfall over the mountains in Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir, and the adjacent hilly areas. The lowest temperature in Islamabad is probably going to stay between 07–09 C on Wednesday and 08–10 C on Thursday.

There’s probably cold weather in other parts of the nation. Tuesday evening and night and Wednesday may see transportation disruptions due to snowfall in the country’s upper regions. Visitors are urged to use caution. There is a chance that shallow to moderate fog will continue in a few plain regions of upper Sindh and Punjab.
