Weather Forecast: Met office predicts more Rain and Snow for following week

ISLAMABAD: Dr. Sardar Sarfaraz, chief meteorologist at the Pakistan Meteorological Department, announced that a new round of rain, hailstorms, and snow is predicted for the entire nation starting on February 25. Karachi City and the province of Balochistan will also have light showers and thunderstorms during this time.

He told APP that the country should expect good rainfall starting the following week due to westerly waves, in addition to snowfall in the northern regions.

Under the influence of westerly waves, “we are expecting some good rains from February 25 to March or may even extend to April.” He also mentioned that snowfall on the hills in the northern parts is also anticipated during this time, which would put an end to the fog and haze throughout the nation.
