According to reports, the right-arm off-break bowler suffered a costly 18-run loss after bowling three “no balls” in one over. Nevertheless, Malik’s sudden exit from the BPL to join Dubai for personal reasons after playing in the match the day before has cast doubt on his leaving the league.

According to reports, Malik’s team, Fortune Barishal, confirmed his transfer to Dubai for personal reasons. Behind the scenes, those aware with the incident disclose that the recently married cricket player asked the Barishal’s management to look for a substitute for him.

There are now rumors circulating that the decision to end his contract followed the ban for match-fixing, casting doubt on the fairness of the competition.

The abrupt departure of Malik from the BPL and the following announcement of his contract’s termination inject a new level of controversy into the ongoing cricket matches.

To preserve the integrity of the game and sustain the fair play standards, a comprehensive inquiry is anticipated from the league organizers and cricket authorities.
