CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar set for second marriage

LAHORE: In a recent development, Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, is preparing for a second marriage, according to sources.

According to the sources, the new bride set to enter the Nawaz family is from the close circle, whereas the family is currently residing in Lahore.

Sources indicate that both families have decided to conduct the engagement ceremony shortly; the dates for the nikkah and engagement would be decided through mutual consultation.

Junaid Safdar, a graduate of Cambridge University, has two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees from other UK universities.

Earlier, in 2021, Junaid Safdar got married to Ayesha Saif, daughter of Qatari entrepreneur Saif-ur-Rehman Khan. The marriage, however, came to an end in October 2023, which Junaid later announced on Instagram, the news of his split from Ayesha Saif.

Safdar remarked on an Instagram video, “News about my divorce is true.” “This is a completely personal matter; I ask the media to respect our privacy.

However, fans and party supporters are overjoyed and are wishing Junaid and his soon-to-be wife a happy and prosperous life ahead.
