Police reveals contact information in actress Humaira Asghar case

KARACHI: The Investigation after the death of actress Humaira Asghar continues with new revelations in the case.

According to the report, the investigating authorities say that the complete mobile data of actress Humaira Asghar has been obtained, but no important evidence has been found from the mobile phone yet.

The investigating authorities said that Humaira contacted 14 people on October 7, 2024, but none of the people contacted responded. Among those contacted is a director from the showbiz industry.

According to investigative sources, the said drama director is in Islamabad who has also been contacted.

Three mobile phones, tablets, a diary and various documents were found from the actress’s flat, however, the tablet used by Humaira Asghar is broken and has not been opened yet.

The investigating authorities further informed that Humaira Asghar had three SIMs in her name, all three SIMs were installed in all three phones, while there was no password on her two mobile phones, and the password for the third mobile and tablet was written in the actress’s diary.

There are a total of 2215 numbers on Humaira Asghar’s three mobile phones. During the investigation, it was also revealed that according to the actress’s phone records, Humaira Asghar had also tried to contact her brother in early October.

Police officials say that the investigation into the incident is ongoing from all possible angles, but the cause of death can be determined only after the medical and postmortem reports are received.

The body of model and actress Humaira Asghar was found on the fourth floor of the residential building in Defense Phase 6, Ittehad Commercial, on July 8.
