Rabi Pirzada alleges harassment following marriage

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former famous singer, actress and social activist Rabi Pirzada has reacted strongly to the alleged harassment and character assassination that came to light after her marriage.

In a detailed post on her official Facebook account, Rabi Pirzada has alleged that after refusing to marry, a person named Colonel Imran tried to cause serious harm to her and the welfare foundation associated with her.

In her post, Rabi Pirzada said that the said person was given respect and trust in her foundation, however, as soon as he got the news of Rabi Pirzada’s marriage, he started calling various people and damaging not only the foundation but also the brand associated with it.

According to Rabi Pirzada, she and her close ones were continuously harassed through her personal numbers, while derogatory comments were made on her personal life based on her marriage. She said that such rudeness and ridicule on someone’s marriage or personal decision is unacceptable.

He expressed regret that the foundation is connected to the livelihood of many people and the education of their children, but despite this, an attempt was made to damage everything based on personal grudges. At the end of her post, Rabi Pirzada condemned such behaviors and prayed to Allah to protect her from people with hypocritical thinking.

It should be remembered that Rabi Pirzada got married in a private ceremony last week, the photos and videos of which are going viral on social media. While sharing the photos of the wedding on Instagram, she thanked her fans for their prayers and wrote that if these prayers were received for writing the entire Holy Quran, her heart would have found more peace.

Rabi Pirzada had retired from the showbiz industry a few years ago and since then she has been active in social welfare activities, painting and other positive activities.
