ISLAMABAD: Popular Pakistani TikToker Ali Butt has confirmed his wedlock, as he chose a low-key Nikah ceremony in a sharp contrast to extravagant parties social media influencers are known for.
Unlike other TikTok celebrities, who previously planned lavish and publicized wedding receptions, Ali Butt decided to keep his special day simple. Social media influencers Rebecca Khan, Rajab Butt, Jannat Mirza, and Sehar Hayat often found themselves in the limelight for making even small occasions grand events for the sake of content.
Ali Butt, on the other hand, did exactly the opposite, merrily getting hitched behind closed doors. It all began when a video emerged showing US US-based hijab-wearing girl, while Ali himself was depicted in Pakistan.
This engendered interest among the fans, and excitement gained strength when a wedding photo of Ali Butt in formal white clothing with a bride wearing a matching white bridal dress became viral on the internet. People wondered if the photo was genuine or merely a part of a content shoot.
Laying all speculations to rest, Ali Butt himself replied to a fan’s question on Instagram, affirming: “Yes, Alhamdulillah, I am married.”
Ali Butt, Umar Butt’s younger brother who is also a popular TikToker, used to be romantically involved with Sehar Hayat.
Sehar married singer Sami Rasheed in July 2023 and welcomed a daughter. Recent events, however, suggest she has moved back to her mother’s home with the child, although there has not yet been an announcement regarding a divorce.
