MULTAN: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) confirmed that the authorities apprehended TikToker Asif Shah, a suspect in various cases, immediately after he arrived at Multan Airport from Dubai.
According to an NCCIA official, Shah’s name was included on the Provisional Control List (PCL) and the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) prior to his arrival. The official said that the National Commission for Child Rights collaborated with several foreign organizations to identify the suspect.
Authorities informed that a case has been lodged under different sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The agency started a thorough investigation to find out how much Shah was involved in the crime.
