LHC will consider the plea of the former PTI chairman On December 18

On December 18, the entire bench of the LHC will consider the plea of the former PTI chairman against a jail trial.

LAHORE – In order to hear the former PTI chairman’s appeal against his jail trial for contempt of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and chief election commissioner case, the Lahore High Court has assembled a full bench.

Three-member bench will be headed by Justice Alia Neelam

Justice Alia Neelam will lead the three-person LHC bench. Justices Asjad Javed Ghural and Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry will also be on the bench.

On December 18, the entire bench will consider the petition that the PTI founder submitted.

In response to the PTI former chairman’s application to be spared from a jail trial, a single bench of the Lahore High Court asked for the formation of a full bench.

In relation to the ECP and CEC case, the former prime minister had contested his jail trial.
