FATEH JANG: At least 10 people died and seven others were injured after a passenger bus overturned on the M-14 motorway near Fateh Jang on Monday.
According to the Motorway Police, the bus, travelling from Mianwali to Rawalpindi, met an accident due to the trye burst.
Several Rescue 1122 vehicles and Motorway Police personnel promptly arrived at the scene to assist the victims.
The bodies, along with the wounded, have been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fateh Jang, the Motorway Police spokesperson added
In another accident today, at least eight people were killed in a road accident in Moro Taluka of Naushahro Feroze district.
According to the rescue officials, an accident occurred when a trawler and a van collided on the National Highway. The van carrying a family was returning from a wedding ceremony.
In addition to the eight fatalities, 15 others were injured in the crash.
The deceased was initially rushed to a nearby hospital, where they succumbed to injuries. Officials said that 10 of the injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Nawabshah due to their critical condition.
