ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan will receive $3 billion from Saudi Arabia by next week.
While talking to the media at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb said that today we had a detailed discussion with the Saudi Finance Minister. Last Friday, there was a discussion with the Saudi Finance Minister in Islamabad. He clearly stated that the support of $3 billion will be paid in the form of additional deposits.
The Finance Minister said that we will get $3 billion support from the Saudi government by next week. We have made payments of $1.4 billion last week. We will make all payments on time.
He said that now instead of this annual rollover, its maturity will be by 2028. I am grateful to the Saudi government. I thank the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman and the Saudi Finance Minister.
