ISLAMABAD: English county club Yorkshire has signed Pakistani fast bowler Hassan Ali as an overseas player for the Vitality Blast.
According to a statement issued by Yorkshire, Hassan Ali will represent the team in the T20 Blast during the current season.
The Pakistani fast bowler will also participate in 2 County Championship matches.
The club management says that Hassan Ali has been included in the squad due to the injury of Afghan fast bowler Naveenul Haq, who is currently unavailable for the team.
Yorkshire General Manager of Cricket Gavin Hamilton says that Hassan Ali’s experience and skills will prove to be extremely useful for the team and the club looks forward to welcoming him to Headingley next month.
