RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed 34 Indian sponsoped terrorists, aka Khwarij, in multiple engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from October 13-15, the military’s media wing said.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, “thirty-four Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij [Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan] were killed in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.”
The military said that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted by the law enforcement agencies in the general area Spinwam of North Waziristan district on the reported presence of Khwarij.
“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, eighteen khwarij were sent to hell,” an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said.
Furthermore, troops conducted another IBO in South Waziristan District, neutralizing eight terrorists.
In the third encounter, army troops successfully neutralized eight more Khwarij in Bannu District, it added.
“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area”, the statement reads, adding that “a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision Azm e Istehkam (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”
