BAJAUR: In view of the tense security situation near the Pak-Afghan border, the district administration has decided to close 39 educational institutions for a week. This step has been taken to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
According to DDO Bajaur Ludan Shahid, the affected schools include 9 schools in Tehsil Wada Mamond, 16 in Loi Mamond, and 14 in Naogai. The schools are in sensitive areas near the Pak-Afghan border.
The district administration has directed that educational activities will remain suspended during the closure and will be resumed after a week after reviewing the security situation.
The Bajaur Education Department has issued a notification to all the concerned schools and said that the aim of this decision is to ensure the safety of students and teaching staff at all costs.
