LAHORE: Tremors were felt in most parts of Punjab, including Multan, with the magnitude recorded at 4.8 on the Richter scale.
According to a PDMA spokesperson, the epicenter of the earthquake was 126 kilometers west of Multan at a depth of 55 kilometers. Administrative teams across Punjab are currently busy inspecting buildings.
The provincial control room of the PDMA, along with district emergency operation centers across the province, is on high alert. Information about damage caused by the earthquake can be shared on the PDMA helpline 1129.
