4.8 magnitude earthquake jolts Hunza & Gilgit-Baltistan region

HUNZA: Earthquake tremors were felt in Hunza and surrounding areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.8 on the Richter scale.

According to the Seismological Center, the depth of the earthquake was 25 kilometers. After the earthquake, people came out of their homes reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.

The Seismological Center says that the epicenter of the earthquake was 90 kilometers northeast of Gilgit-Baltistan.
