ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) has shared the details about the martyred and injured civilians due to Indian aggression during Marka-e-Haq.
According to the statement issued by ISPR, on the eve of 6 and 7 May, forty civilians, including women and children, along with 11 soldiers, were martyred due to Indian aggression. The military‘s media agency said that during the cowardly Indian attack, 121 civilians and 78 soldiers were also injured.
The martyrs of the Pakistan armed forces included Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf, Chief Technician Aurangzaib, Senior Technician Najeeb, Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubasshar.
The sacrifices of the martyrs are an inspiring emblem of courage, spirit, and patriotism, ISPR stated. The nation will always remember their great sacrifice, it added.
Our armed forces honored the martyred civilians and soldiers in tribute, along with the people. The nation will retaliate against any attack with overwhelming force.
There will be a decisive response to every attack on Pakistan‘s sovereignty, ISPR stated. On the night of the 6/7th of May, when cowardly attacks were carried out by India, India fired missiles from stand-off on civilian infrastructure and places of worship, targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.
The Pakistan Air Force and Ground-Based Air Defence Systems did not permit any Indian aircraft to cross into Pakistan‘s airspace.
During the ensuing battle with the Pakistan air force and Air Defence Systems, five Indian fighter aircraft (three Rafaels, one SU-30, and one Mig 29), and a Heron Unmanned Aerial System system were hit and ultimately destroyed, Allhamdolillah, Pakistan Airforce suffered no damage AI in B3 and displayed par excellence professionalism.
Pakistan’s response to India’s attack, named Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, a Quranic phrase meaning Wall of Steel, that took place during the night of the 9th/10th of May, was a textbook example of integrated tri-services jointness, based on real-time situation awareness, network-centric warfare capabilities, and frictionless multi-domain operations.
It was the demonstration of synergised air, land, sea, and cyber domains, which permitted precision engagements, with overwhelming lethality and lightning operational tempo.
The synergies across platforms (land, sea, and air) and enabling domains (Cyber) permitted air, land, sea, and cyber assets to combine and deliver the best effect at precisely selected decisive points of operations.
The operational retaliatory response to India’s offensive operations used precision-guided and long-range missiles, Pakistan Army Fatah series missiles F1 and F2, the precision munitions of PAF, and precision loitering long-range “killer munitions”, and the Army’s precision long-range artillery.
The Responding Forces destroyed 26x military targets, plus facilities used to target Pakistani citizens and facilities that were involved in sowing the seeds of terrorism in Pakistan, based in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and also mainland India.
