5.3 magnitude earthquake jolts Swat, Shangla, Buner

SWAT: Earthquake tremors were felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swat, Shangla and Buner.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Dir Bala, Dir city and surrounding areas.

According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 5.3, while the epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

The depth of the earthquake was 216 kilometers underground.

After the earthquake, people came out of their homes reciting the Kalima Tayyaba. Currently, no reports of any loss of life or property have been received.
