ISLAMABAD (ABN News) – Disqualified former PTI MNA Ahmad Chattha has claimed that his disqualification was part of a pre-planned and systematic effort to sideline PTI leaders and pave the way for by-elections aimed at securing a single-party majority for the ruling coalition.

Speaking at ABN News program “Sawal Se Aagay,” Chattha said he received no legal notice or official communication regarding his disqualification and only found out through a notification circulating on social media. He described the move as a blatant act of injustice, noting that legally, individuals are granted 15 days to appeal, a right he claims was denied to him.

He alleged double standards in the system, stating that while another party member was given appropriate time to appeal after a conviction, in his case, the Speaker did not even send a reference and directly issued a disqualification decision. Chattha vowed to challenge the verdict on every available forum and continue exposing what he described as a biased system.

Chatta further pointed out that a by-election schedule had already been announced for Jamshed Dasti’s seat, while his own case had yet to be scheduled in court. This, he argued, demonstrates that the system is working in only one direction.

He reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing justice and informing the public about how political opponents are being systematically removed.
