AJK food authority declares 6 companies harmful to health, bans several items

MUZAFFARABAD: AJK Food Authority took a major initiative of declaring the products of 6 companies as harmful to health. They banned the sale of hazardous items. A copy of the letter was immediately sent to the District Deputy Commissioners and SSPs.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Food Authority has taken this decision in light of the report received from the PCSIR laboratory.

Among the products declared harmful to health are Dostea tea mix’s product Tea whitener, Hico’s Hicovinila, and Sweetzone’s Melon sweet were also declared harmful.

Menu’s nuggets kebabs Chill Pill’s koftas, and skewers while Meat Club’s koftas are also included in the harmful products.

All District Food Safety Officers have been directed to immediately seize the products of these companies. Azad Jammu and Kashmir Food Authority for Safety officers will ensure that these items cannot be sold in the market.
