PESHAWAR: After the resignation of former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, his political activities have seen a significant decline, which has raised many questions in political circles.
According to party sources, Ali Amin Gandapur has not participated in party events on several important occasions in the past, due to which there is unease among the workers and leaders.
Sources say that he was not present in the activities held in Peshawar on the occasion of Black Day, similarly he did not attend the rally held yesterday, while he was also absent from the protest of the members of the assembly in Islamabad.
According to reports, he is avoiding attending important meetings of the party and has also cut off contact with most of the leaders.
Moreover, he has also stopped financial support for the party, which is being considered an important indication of his complete political silence. Due to this situation, there is a debate in the inner circles of the party whether he has temporarily separated or is this a precursor to some big decision.
On the other hand, the former Chief Minister’s spokesperson Faraz Mughal has rejected this impression and said that Ali Amin Gandapur is currently unable to join party activities due to his busy schedule. He is busy supervising development projects in his native area.
The spokesperson clarified that Ali Amin will be in the forefront as always on the call of PTI founder Imran Khan and will continue to stand with the party.
